Covid and Its Consequences
A 2 part series of webinars on ‘Covid and Its Consequences’, hosted by Rhian Jones and Val Bullen
Monday 21st November 2022 & Monday 28th November 2022
As Covid infection rates are on the rise again, it is important to be prepared to help your clients with both the short term and long term consequences of exposure to this unusual respiratory virus. We will consider how the body should respond to the virus and how it seems to cause long term effects in some, this being “Long Covid”. We will also review the problems that some people face following the vaccine.
A 2 part series of webinars on ‘Covid and Its Consequences’ will be hosted by Rhian Jones from Botanical Pharmacy and Val Bullen, an immunologist, on Monday 21st November and Monday 28th November from 7pm until 8.30pm. Each session will be 1 hour and 15 minutes of lecture allowing 15 minutes for questions at the end. It will be £11.37 per session and it’s recommended that you attend both.
Across the 2 webinars, different topics related to the Covid pandemic will be covered including:
Session 1: Covid, it’s symptoms and after Covid on Monday 21st November. Session 2: Vaccinations and handling the adverse reactions on Monday 28th November.
Session 1 will include the signs and symptoms of Covid and what can be done in the initial stage to maximise appropriate responses including herbal, nutritional and dietary strategies. It will also focus on “Long Covid”, addressing the often unique signs and symptoms in any particular individual, and what to take and do to minimise the long term impact of the virus.
Session 2 will focus on the adverse reactions from the Covid vaccines and how to manage vaccine damage in clinical practice.
